VIDEO UPDATE
==========

Also, as you may be aware, there was a press conference just prior to the Senate passing the Tax Credit and Education incentives for volunteer fire and ems responders on Monday at the Capitol. We have been able to get a video containing the comments from the Fire and EMS Leadership who attended the press conference and one that contained the entire press conference. I would encourage you to listen to both videos so that you can be aware of the supportive comments made by your Fire and EMS leadership and the Senators who represented and supported your interest on the hill.

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
==============================

In order for these bills to be passed in the House and sent over to the Governor for his signature, each of us will have to work very diligently to educate and encourage our locally elected Representatives on the need for and the necessity of voting in favor of this legislation.

To assist you in that effort, you are encouraged to go to www.pesla.org (Pennsylvania Emergency Services Legislative Alliance) and register for the new interactive, internet based, grass roots advocacy tool that was made possible with a grant from the Firemen's Legislative Federation of Pennsylvania.

You will then be able to receive legislative alerts from us about up to the minute action being taken on the various pieces of legislation and communicate quickly and with little effort using our email message capability to your own legislator.
