January 2012 - Tue 10th - 1800 Hours to 2200 Hours - Tue 17th - 1800 Hours to 2200 Hours - Tue 24th - 1800 Hours to 2200 Hours - Tue 31st - 1800 Hours to 2200 Hours **16 Hour Class - Participants must attend all four sessions to receive the certificate for the course! This course sets forth the need for fire police, as well as their legal police power, personal and professional qualifications, appointment and control, general and special duties and limitations. This course is open to both fire police and firefighters from throughout Chester County. Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company is encouraging their firefighters to take the course so that they can be sworn in as Fire Police Officers by Caln Township and if necessary assist the regular fire police at emergency scenes and community events.
