B. Make sure the SFPO have some rest or time off to get warm or go to the restroom.
C. See if SFPO need water, coffee or other refreshments.
D. Make sure your officers have hand and foot warmers, they are inexpensive protection.

4. Some of these big fires, accidents and accident reconstruction situations can last 4 or more hours.
5. Try to set up your post so that cones, signs and other traffic control devices will do the job while you can keep an eye on traffic from your vehicle.
6. Have a vehicle, squad or traffic unit, or POV to run to Wawa or convience store to get hot drinks for the members and to use the restrooms.
Wawa's will usually always donate hot chocolate or coffee for volunteers. Maybe keep a small cash amount in the traffic unit just incase food needs to be purchased.
